Exhausted but wired.
HORMONES & CYCLES
Hormones & HRT
Perimenopause, menopause, menstrual changes, low libido, testosterone concerns, PCOS, and individualized hormone treatment when appropriate.
Understanding Hormones
You should not have to feel like a stranger in your body
Hormonal changes can affect sleep, mood, energy, weight, libido, concentration, temperature, and how you feel day to day — not only your cycle.
Care begins with what has changed, not a single lab number. When hormone therapy is appropriate, decisions are individualized. FDA-approved options may be used through a regular pharmacy when they fit; compounded therapy is not automatic.
Rest that does not restore.
Changes without a clear reason.
A sense of fading vitality.
Where We Begin
Comprehensive Root CauseConsultation
We step back and look at the whole picture — your health history, symptoms, nutrition, medications and supplements, previous testing, treatments you have tried, lifestyle, and goals. From there, we identify patterns and determine what may help us better understand what is contributing to how you feel.
Self-pay telehealth practice. Ongoing care is optional. Laboratory testing, supplements, medications, and continued support are additional. Care complements, and does not replace, your primary care physician.

How It Connects
Systems we evaluate in hormone care
Sex hormones & cycles
Perimenopause, low libido, hot flashes, cycle changes, and mood shifts — explored in context, not as isolated complaints.
Thyroid interplay
Thyroid symptoms often overlap with hormone changes. We review prior testing and patterns that standard panels can miss.
Stress & cortisol rhythm
Chronic stress can disrupt sleep, weight, mood, and energy. We assess how stress physiology may be contributing.
Metabolic signals
Insulin resistance, weight changes, and fatigue often travel with hormone shifts. We connect these systems together.
Common Concerns
Symptoms we explore in hormone care
You do not need a diagnosis before scheduling. These are common patterns when hormones, perimenopause, PCOS, or thyroid overlap may be part of the picture.
Exhausted but wired.
Afternoon crashes, irritability, anxiety, or low mood that does not match your circumstances — especially around cycle or life-stage changes.
Rest that does not restore.
Night sweats, hot flashes, difficulty staying asleep, or waking unrefreshed despite adequate time in bed.
Changes without a clear reason.
Unexplained weight gain or difficulty losing weight, especially around the midsection, with normal routine labs.
A sense of fading vitality.
Low libido, brain fog, or feeling unlike yourself — often dismissed as stress or aging alone.
Our Approach
How we address hormone concerns
Care is individualized. Testing, nutrition, lifestyle, and treatment recommendations depend on your history, goals, and what the evidence supports.
Comprehensive history first
Your initial telehealth consultation reviews records, prior labs, medications, supplements, and symptom timeline before recommendations are made.
Targeted evaluation
When appropriate, we recommend labs or specialty testing to clarify contributors — always with purpose and cost discussed first.
Integrated plan
Recommendations may include nutrition, sleep, stress support, movement, and clinically appropriate therapies — adjusted over time in ongoing care.
The Difference
A more connected approach
Hormone health rarely exists in isolation. We look beyond a single symptom or lab value to understand how the different pieces of your health may be working together.
Our Philosophy
“The goal is not simply to raise or lower a hormone level. It is to understand what is changing in your body and support how you feel and function.”
Hormone therapy is not appropriate for everyone, and there is no single protocol that is right for every patient.
Common Questions
Questions patients often ask
Will Dr. Saara be my primary care physician?
No. This is consultative functional and integrative care. It complements your existing team and does not replace primary, preventive, urgent, or emergency care.
Do I have to choose ongoing care?
No. Ongoing care options are optional. Pay-as-you-go follow-up is available when clinically appropriate: results $250, general follow-up $199.
Where are appointments available?
Virtual consultations for patients located in Florida at the time of the appointment. You must be physically in Florida when we meet.
Do I need hormone labs before scheduling?
No. Bring whatever testing you already have. We review it during your consultation and recommend additional evaluation only when clinically appropriate.
Do you prescribe hormone therapy?
Yes, when clinically appropriate after individualized evaluation — including prescription estrogen and micronized progesterone, and testosterone-related concerns in women and men. It is not a default for every patient. Coverage and pharmacy options vary.
